Information
Replacing halogen T15 bulbs with red LED ones offers several advantages, both aesthetic and functional. Here are the main reasons in detail:
Aesthetic Advantages:
- Custom look: The red light gives the vehicle a more aggressive and sporty appearance, becoming a distinctive element for those who like to personalise their car.
- Night visibility: The red light, when used for rear lights or position lights, can improve the vehicle's visibility in fog or rain conditions, providing a more noticeable braking signal.
Functional Advantages:
- Lower energy consumption: LEDs consume far less energy than halogen bulbs, helping to reduce the vehicle's power draw and extend battery life.
- Longer lifespan: LED bulbs have a significantly longer life than halogen ones, requiring fewer replacements over time.
- Instant illumination: LEDs light up instantly, with no warm-up time, improving road safety.
- Lower heat output: LEDs produce less heat than halogen bulbs, reducing the risk of overheating the lamps and surrounding components.
