The increase in brightness, + 290%, in lumens indicated compared to a halogen is a parameter calculated with REAL data with ULBRICHT sphere

Replacing halogen bulbs with Aozoom LED ones on your Golf 7 offers several significant advantages , although it is essential to consider the homologation aspect in Italy.

Here are the main reasons why this change is made:

Advantages of LED Lamps (Retrofit)

• Greater Brightness and Better Visibility: LED lamps (especially the latest generations) emit a much brighter, whiter light (usually around 6000 Kelvin ), which is more similar to daylight. This significantly improves nighttime visibility, reducing eye strain. Some models promise up to 450% more brightness than halogens.

• Longer Lifespan: An LED lasts much longer than a halogen lamp. Lifespan can be up to 6-10 times longer (1,500 hours for quality halogens versus 15,000-20,000 hours for LEDs), reducing the frequency and cost of replacements.

• Energy Efficiency: LEDs consume significantly less energy than halogens. This reduces the strain on the car's electrical system.

• Modern Aesthetics: The cold white light gives the car a more modern, elegant and aggressive look, in line with the latest models that have LED headlights as standard (such as the optional R-Line on the Golf 7).

• Less Heat: LEDs produce less heat on the internal parts of the headlight, helping to preserve the internal reflector and external polycarbonate cover over time.
