Information

The brightness increase, + 350%, in lumens indicated compared to a halogen is a parameter calculated with REAL data using an ULBRICHT sphere.

The difference between a "classic" LED kit and a mono LED mainly concerns the light control and the physical construction of the bulb.

Here are the key points to understand which to choose:

1. The Mono LED Kit

  • It is the most widespread model. The LED chips (Model XHP-70) are mounted on a central metal plate in copper and aluminium that acts as a heatsink.
  • Strength: Maximum luminous power and proven reliability.
  • Focus: Drastically reduces shadow areas. This is essential to avoid dazzling oncoming drivers and to have a sharper light cut-off.
  • Ideal for: Lenticular headlamps (those with the round "lens") which are very sensitive where beam precision is more important than raw power.
