Information
Transform your BMW R GS 1200 from halogen to LED with bulbs H7, it has never been easier with our specific LED kit. In fact it is an excellent upgrade to improve the visibility and luminous efficiency of your motorcycle.
Here is a general guide on how to proceed with the conversion:
Tools and materials required:
LED conversion kit H7(LED bulbs H7) TOP SERIES LED SLUX of 13600lm
Screwdriver and tools for removing motorcycle parts (if necessary)
Protective equipment or gloves for handling the LED bulbs
Steps to follow:
Accessing the halogen lights: Access the halogen bulbs of your BMW R GS 1200. You can usually reach them through the front headlight, which may require removal of parts of the fairing or the headlight itself. Consult the motorcycle manual for specific instructions.
Remove the halogen bulbs: Release the electrical connector from the rear of the halogen bulbs H7. Unclip the two retaining clips and remove the bulb.
Installation of the new LED bulbs H7: Take the LED conversion kit H7 and install the LED bulbs into the headlight housing.
Electrical connection: Connect the cables of the new LED bulbs H7 to the motorcycle's electrical system connectors. Make sure to follow the instructions of the conversion kit and connect the cables correctly.
Check: Before closing the headlight or reassembling the motorcycle parts, start the motorcycle and check the operation of the new LED bulbs. Make sure they work correctly in low beam and high beam modes.
Headlight height adjustment: With the new LED bulbs it may be necessary to adjust the headlight height to avoid dazzling other road users. You can do this using the height adjusters on the motorcycle or by consulting an experienced mechanic.
Reassembly of removed parts: Once you have confirmed the LED bulbs are working correctly and the headlight height has been adjusted, reassemble all the motorcycle parts you previously removed.
