2. Protection and thermal insulation

• Lens projectors reach high temperatures. The cover acts as a shield for the surrounding components (often made of plastic or sensitive materials) and helps protect the lens module from dust and debris that could enter the headlight assembly during maintenance or due to micro-cracks.

3. Aesthetic integration

• From a design perspective, the bare lens module has a very "industrial" and raw look, composed of screws, springs and metal supports.
• Finish: The covers hide these mechanics, giving the headlight a clean, modern look.
• Customization: They are available in various finishes (chrome, matt black, with "Angel Eyes" LED inserts) to define the aesthetic "character" of the vehicle.

4. Support for Daytime Running Lights (DRL)

• In many modern headlights, the cover serves as a physical support for the LED strips or light rings that serve as position lights or daytime running lights, integrating several functions in a single compact component.
