Why replace it?

• Replacement is usually necessary for three main reasons:
• Moisture infiltration: This is the most common cause. If the headlight seal fails, condensation seeps down to where the control unit is mounted, oxidizing the contacts.
• Internal electronic fault: The headlight LEDs stop working or work only partially (for example, the daytime running lights work, but the high beams do not).
• Collisions: Even a small bump can damage the connector pins or short out the module's internal circuitry.
