1. Perfect light cut-off (Cut-off)

  • Standard LED bulbs project light at 360° inside the headlamp reflector. If the reflector is not perfectly designed for LED, light can "escape" upwards.
  • With a lens: The lens projects the light beam directly onto the road, creating a sharp demarcation line (cut-off).
  • Advantage: You do not dazzle oncoming drivers and are less noticed by law enforcement.

2. Elimination of "dark spots"

  • Common H4 LED bulbs often create shadowed zones or irregular light patches because the LED chips are not located at the exact focal point of the original filament.
