Information

An 18 mm-thick lenticular with dipped-beam function is an optical device designed to control light so as to provide clear vision in low-light conditions (dipped beam).

This lenticular consists of a series of lenses arranged in a specific way that allow variation of the angle and distribution of light coming from a light source. The lenses are engineered to direct the light differently depending on the selected mode.

In dipped-beam mode, the lenticular distributes the light more diffusely and directed downward, allowing improved visibility without dazzling other drivers or road users.

These lenticulars are commonly used in car headlights to provide adequate illumination during night driving while ensuring the safety of other drivers by avoiding glare.
